
Drenthe is a province in The Netherlands that houses many beautiful national parks. Drenthe is also well-known to be the province that has 52 ‘hunebedden’, aka dolmens, still located at their original location in The Netherlands. The capital of Drenthe is Assen and the province has around 491.000 people.
Tourism isn’t that well spread in Drenthe, however that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t go to this province. Drenthe has Hunebed- highway, old villages and some beautiful cities to discover. Besides that, the national parks are some of the most beautiful scenic and must see places of The Netherlands.
