Besides that, if you’ve ever heard of the Charleston Shoe Company, then you know I’m not lying. Such comfy shoes!

The neutrals don’t disappear any time soon, simply because we love neutral colours in Europe as they easy to pack and good to dress up and down. While I wouldn’t walk complete days in them, they are comfortable, good and stylish walking sandals for Europe.

These heeled sandals are from Steve Madden and only have a little, chunky heel which makes it even easier to walk in. Loafers are some of my favourite kind of shoes, but sometimes they can be kind of hard to walk in. Especially when it comes to the ankle part, where blisters love to eat me. These cute and comfy shoes are great women’s travel shoes for Europe in spring and summer. Wear shorts or flowy pants, a basic t-shirt and you’re ready to go out exploring.
Simple, but comfortable Superga Women’s Sneakers for Europe
It’s possible that you’ve never heard of Superga, but if that’s the case then I’m happy to change that. Superga have some of the best and cutest sneakers that you should wear when you’re sightseeing and travelling through Europe. These simple trainers are some of the best shoes for a full day of walking. I prefer these sneakers especially when its beautiful weather in spring, summer and autumn. I definitely wouldn’t recommend you to wear them in winter, but everything else than that, it’s a yes. I tell you, you won’t regret getting them!
I just adore Vans. Vans has very comfy and cute shoes. I’ve been walking tens and tens of kilometers a day and I’ve never had sore feet or blisters even. I’ve been running, jumping and dancing in them and never had an issue. If you’re looking for the best shoes for long distance walking, such as sightseeing in Europe, then Vans are golden. Simple and neutral sneakers and shoes are big all over Europe for European women and men alike, that makes them some of the best women’s travel shoes for Europe.
Go for High- Top Vans that are very supportive tennis shoes
I know that this pair of sneakers is just a different style than the pair above, however there is a reason why I included an extra pair of Vans in the best trainers for walking part of the article. These Vans are some of the best supportive and stylish tennis shoes you’ll find nowadays. If you’ve got wide feet like me, they fit like a glove. So this is definitely one of the stylish walking shoes you need to bring during your travels. And you’ll fit right in with the European women as these are very popular sneakers and walking shoes.
All Stars cannot not be in this article. Some cannot walk in them for days, however I’ve never had any problems. Besides one incident, but that was the fault of a nail that was cutting in my toe. I will spare you the details. All Stars are so easy to travel with, you can wash them whenever you want, they are comfortable and breathable. That last point is especially useful during spring or summer. I find that the high top All Stars are quite supportive tennis shoes as well. The ankle ones, obviously are not that sturdy.
Nike is one of the best brands when it comes to supportive tennis shoes and sneakers. But not every Nike trainer is great for when travelling in Europe. You’d want to avoid the rough, typical sports shoes. They often have many different colours and, in my opinion, just don’t look presentable. Opt for a sneaker like this one instead. It’s a neutral colour, doesn’t have weird soles and shoe shapes, etc.
The last Nike trainer that I think is great are the Air Force ones. Although this is a bigger shoe than the one before, it’s still neutral and makes your outfit a bit more edgy. Not to mention that they are one of the most comfortable tennis shoes I’ve ever worn.
Look like a million bucks with the Adidas Stan Smith
Somehow there seems to be this rumour floating around about Europeans not wearing white tennis shoes. Hereby I declare that this is in fact a myth and not true. I think by now you’ve got an understanding of the kind of sneakers and tennis shoes that are worn by women in Europe. One last pair of trainers cannot be left out and those are the Adidas Stan Smith’s. They are good shoes for when you’re walking all day, some of the most comfortable tennis shoes and can be dressed up as a comfortable dress shoe. Wear flowy pants or a suit with these sneakers and you’ll look like a million bucks.

If you’re looking for the most comfortable boots for travel that have a cushion and footbed in them, then Dr. Martens are great. Not only are they very sturdy and durable walking boots, which is useful when you travel, they are the best shoes for when you’re walking long distances in cities. No matter what kind of season it is, Dr. Martens are the best shoes for walking around Europe in spring, summer, autumn and winter. During winter you’d have to add a thick pair of socks, depending on your location, but at least they help you not fall on your butt with the freezing weather.
