The Netherlands is a very diverse country. We have old cities, the most beautiful fairytale- like villages and bitterballen. If that doesn’t convince you, then I don’t know what will. We have FEBO. Maybe that works like a charm.
Like I said, The Netherlands is a small but diverse country. Because of this there are plenty of things to do. Now, we don’t have mountains here but that doesn’t mean it is boring here. We have tulip season, plenty of incredible national parks and a lot of fried food.
Every season is different. During spring and summer, everyone will be as often outside as they possibly can. It is the time of tulips and late summer nights. However, during autumn and winter you will notice that all the cafes are crowded with people that enjoy a cup of tea. It is simply cosy. This is the time that the Christmas feeling comes around the corner and the elfstedenkoorts (11-cities fever, more info here) has everyone on the top of their feet.
As every season is so different from the next, I decided to divide the roadtrips into four categories. The four seasons; Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
The first articles will be published in a little while.
