The Netherlands in spring is generally a dream come true, but our weather is very unpredictable during this season in The Netherlands. It is also when The Netherlands has filled with millions (if not billions) of blooming flower fields, the little lambs jump throughout the meadows, and people sit on terraces to catch the first warm rays of sunshine.
Spring in The Netherlands is lovely – and you must visit the Dutch provinces filled with tulip fields which you have to do with my help. I was born and raised (and still live) in the largest tulip region in The Netherlands, which is why you can find the best locations for seeing free Dutch tulip fields on my blog. But, it gets even better: Check my ‘Visiting Tulip Fields in The Netherlands” E-Book for all the exact locations, routes, etc., for the entire country here – or join me on a tulip fields bike tour in 2023!).
Besides exploring tulip fields in the Holland region and beyond (did you know that almost every province in The Netherlands is home to some tulip fields?), there is plenty more to do in spring in The Netherlands. From getting adventurous and exploring The Netherlands from the water by canoe, boat or sup board to celebrating some of the best Dutch holidays.
There are also plenty of Dutch spring traditions that I’m sure you will love to explore as well. Happy travels!
