The province of Utrecht, The Netherlands is known to Dutch people as the smallest of our country. However, that doesn’t mean this province isn’t worth a visit. Utrecht, with it’s capital Utrecht, houses 1.2 million people. Which is quite a lot for such a small area.
Yet, once you step out of big cities, such as Utrecht or Amersfoort you notice a big change. You will see some of the most scenic places and cities of The Netherlands, including big lakes and small islands. You can rent a boat in this area of The Netherlands and sail through the most beautiful areas of the province of Utrecht.
Utrech is small, but has everything you would want a province to have. Cute cities, incredible villages and the most extraordinary castles (even within cities). Not to forget that some of the most beautiful forests of The Netherlands are located in Utrecht.
If this, and all the information below, doesn’t make this province worth a visit than I don’t know what will. It’s magical. Have a look at the current articles and I promise you won’t be disappointed. There are more articles to come, however please have some patience as I’m running this website alone.
